Who is BBC's acting director general Tim Davie?

Tim Davie has been appointed acting director general of the BBC following the resignation of George Entwistle over a Newsnight child abuse report.

Mr Davie, 45, is taking over, while the BBC Trust begins the process of agreeing on a permanent successor.
