Rotherham Hospital to cut 750 jobs by 2015

A hospital in south Yorkshire has announced 750 jobs could be cut over the next three years.

The NHS Trust which runs Rotherham Hospital needs to save £50m. It says not replacing the 250 staff who leave, on average, each year would not damage patient care.

Unions dispute that, and say the Trust has been badly managed.

Tom Ingall reports.
