British tourist killed in South Africa boat accident

Emergency services in South Africa have confirmed the name of a British tourist who died in a whale watching accident.

Peter Hyett, from Barry in south Wales, died along with a crew member when the boat capsized in rough seas off the coast of Cape Town on Saturday. A number of Britons were among the 34 people rescued.

Brad Geyser, joint operations commander for South Africa's National Sea Rescue Institute for the rescue on Saturday, spoke to the BBC about why the boat capsized.
