London 2012: 'Amazing' to be Queen's stunt double

One of the sequences in the London 2012 opening ceremony involved a surprise appearance from the Queen, who appeared to parachute into the event with James Bond.

Gary Connery was the stunt double who jumped out of a helicopter in the guise of the monarch before a crowd of thousands.

He told the BBC's Daniela Relph it had been ''an amazing experience''.
