'Unlawful' marriage ruling: 'I felt like I'd been exiled'
A married couple has succeeded in overturning a government ban on non-EU foreign spouses under the age of 21 entering the UK, after taking their case to the Supreme Court.
The court said that the rule was unjustified because it interfered with the human rights of couples.
Amber and Diego Aguilar, who were 17 and 18 when they married, were forced to live in Chile and Ireland, after Diego was refused residency when his student visa expired. Mrs Aguila - who is British - said she felt like she had been "exiled" from her own country.
