RAF Lyneham and the people of Wiltshire say goodbye to the Hercules

A fleet of Hercules aircraft, nicknamed Fat Alberts, have left RAF Lyneham for the last time.

Lyneham has been the home of the Hercules for 45 years and became synonymous with the giant air transporter.

RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire will cease to be a flying station as their duties are transferred to RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.

Local residents saw off the iconic aircraft and many said they were sad to see them go.
