Footballer targets Twitter in privacy fight

Users of the social networking site Twitter are still posting messages claiming to know the identity of a footballer who has gone to the courts to find out who has been discussing his private life.

The footballer, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has obtained a court order giving the California-based company a week to provide details of who has been using the site to break a legal gagging order.
