Lymington stationmaster sacked for safety breach
More than 1,000 people have signed a petition calling for an award-winning stationmaster to be given his job back after he was sacked for removing a shopping trolley from the tracks.
Ian Faletto, who was Lymington Town's stationmaster for nearly 30 years, believed his prompt action prevented an accident.
But his bosses say he committed "a serious breach of safety" and dismissed him.
Paul Clifton reports from Lymington.
