Pledge to make broadband network the best in Europe

Every community in the UK should have 'super fast' broadband within the next five years.

The government says it will use money from the BBC licence fee to fund the scheme. Ministers say 600,000 jobs could be created and are promising that the UK will soon have the best broadband in Europe.
