Olympic participation pledge spending cuts 'threat'

Public spending cuts are threatening to damage the promise made by Olympic organisers to inspire young people to get more involved in sport.

Funding for partnerships between schools, youth groups and sporting organisations is being scaled down - but the government says a £135m fund it has created could still help increase participation.
