The last traditional launch on the Clyde

The last of a fleet of six Royal Navy warships built in Scotland will glide down the slipway in an historic launch later today.

HMS Duncan is likely to be the final navel vessel to be launched by this traditional method.

With cuts in defence spending a possibility, the future of the Clyde shipyard is uncertain.
