Glasgow tower blocks flattened in ten seconds

Two blocks of high-rise flats have been demolished in the latest phase of the regeneration of Glasgow's Gorbals area.

A total of 3,000 separate explosive charges reduced the 23-storey Norfolk Court tower blocks to 20,000 tonnes of rubble in just 10 seconds.

About 200 new homes are to be built on the area in the future.
