Priests need not be celibate, BBC survey finds

The Pope should drop the requirement for priests to remain celibate, said almost half of the 500 Roman Catholics who took part in a BBC survey.

It comes days before Pope Benedict arrives in the UK and also suggests that most Catholics think the visit will be helpful to their faith.
