Grandmother on dog attack: 'She was covered in blood’

The grandmother of a 10-year-old girl who was attacked by attacked by Rottweilers in Dundee has said the child was left "covered in blood".

The incident happened at about 1100 BST on Sunday as Rhianna Kidd was riding her bike in Dryburgh Street.

She was taken to Ninewells Hospital in the city. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening but it is understood she has a fractured jaw.

Rhianna's grandmother, Irene Grady, saw the attack happen and ran from her house to help.
