Can new legislation ease traveller tensions?

The coalition has signalled that it is reconsidering the legislation governing travellers and may give councils more powers to tackle unauthorised encampments.

Under the plans there would also be financial incentives to develop authorised sites, but will this help to ease tensions between travellers and some local communities? Mike Lanchin reports.
