The Battle of Britain entered its most critical phase 70 years ago this week.

There was a significant behind-the-scenes-team who assisted the RAF pilots scramble, plotting the course of hundreds of German bombers across London in the RAF operations room.

The BBC's Robert Hall looks at one of the key components of victory in the battle against the airborne Nazi onslaught.
