'No guarantee on police numbers,' says Policing minister

Budget cuts in the police service in England and Wales could lead to 60,000 police officer and civilian posts being axed by 2015, a study by Police Review magazine suggests.

Policing Minister, Nick Herbert, said it was not right to speculate on levels of cuts, but he added that he could not give a guarantee about police numbers.
