This week yet another round of Southern strikes have brought overcrowding on trains to the forefront of everyone's mind. But with passenger numbers rising and limitations on infrastructure, what can be done to ensure as many people as possible can sit comfortably?

Paul Priestman, chairman of transport design company Priestman Goode, explains to the Today programme his plans to change the way we sit on trains.
