Cancer surgery broadcast live in virtual reality

A patient undergoing surgery for colon cancer at the Royal London Hospital has had his operation streamed live online, using 360-degree virtual reality video.

It is believed to be a world first, and doctors believe it could revolutionise medical training around the world.
