CES 2016: Triby adds Amazon Alexa assistant to fridges

A colourful speaker that brings Amazon's voice-controlled assistant Alexa to your fridge is one of the products being put on display at the CES tech show in Las Vegas.

The Triby can receive picture messages, make phone calls and answer questions you ask it.

It is the first third-party device to feature Alexa.

BBC's technology desk editor Leo Kelion asked the company's chief Serge Renouard why anyone would need such a gadget in their lives.
