Jet-powered bike tested at Pendine Sands, Wales

A jet-powered bike has been tested at Pendine Sands in Wales in preparation for a land speed world record.

Due to an uneven surface and soft sands an attempt to break the British two-wheeled land speed record was not made. It had been hoped that Jet Reaction would reach speeds of 400mph (643km/h).

The world record attempt will take place in the US in September.
