Total recoil? Maker of gun simulator eyes video game market

Kyle Monti and Martin Holly have developed a product called The Striker Virtual Recoil (VR) simulation gun.

It is a fake gun that is designed to kick just like a real one. Originally designed for military training exercises, they are testing whether it could be of interest to video game makers, particularly when used with virtual reality kits like Oculus Rift.

The BBC's Dougal Shaw spoke to Kyle Monti about how the technology behind the fake gun works, and the ethics of making video game violence more realistic.
