Google Glass: How new heads up gadget works

Software engineers working on applications for the eagerly anticipated smart headset Google Glass have gathered in San Francisco for the company's annual I/O conference.

Although the wearable computing device is still some way off being available to consumers, developers have been trying it out for several weeks.

The BBC's technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones got his hands on a Google Glass to try it out for himself.
