Research in Motion, the company that produces Blackberry phones, has suffered a public relations problem because of service interruptions for customers.
Millions have been left unable to check their emails, send messages or browse the internet.
RiM says it has fixed the problem, which it says was due to the collapse of a link in its European switching system, but has the damage already been done?
