How orangutan squeaks could reveal humans' first words

Scientists have discovered that there may be a link between our own language and the "kiss squeaks" that orangutans make.

Prof Serge Wich from Liverpool John Moores University, co-author of the study published in Nature Human Behaviour, tells the Today programme that the calls orangutans make may help us understand the evolution of human language.
