Scientists say they may have clues that will enable them to find traces of the asteroid that it's thought wiped out much of life on earth - including the dinosaurs - 66 million years ago.

Co-chief scientist on the international team behind the project Professor Sean Gulick explains to Sarah Montague on the Today programme the significance of their findings.
