NICE: Smoother driving would 'save 20% of emissions'

NICE, the National Institute for Health and Care excellence, has advised local councils to get rid of speed bumps, cut speed limits and introduce clear air zones to cut the pollution that is killing thousands of people every year.

Samantha Heath was on the NICE guideline committee, she's the chief executive of the London Sustainability Exchange. She told the Today programme "20% of emissions can be saved by smoother driving."
