Italian astronaut shows how to make a meal in space

Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti has been demonstrating how to make a meal on board the International Space Station.

Her tips include using tortillas as they do not leave crumbs and creamy peas to bind everything together in zero gravity.

The European Space Agency allows astronauts to bring some "bonus food" on missions - a far cry from the days of freeze-dried powered food.
