Donna Nook seal pups thriving year after tidal surge

A record number of seals have been born at the Donna Nook sanctuary in Lincolnshire.

The number of seals dropped last year after severe weather, but this year more than 1,700 have been born at the reserve.

Wildlife experts are optimistic the latest figures show the colony is thriving.
