Nasa chooses companies to build new US spacecraft

The United States is getting ready to send manned rockets into space once again.

Nasa has chosen two private companies to build a new generation of spacecraft that will take their astronauts to the International Space Station.

The agency's administrator described it as the most ambitious and exciting chapter in the history of NASA.
