Badger cull given go ahead in two test areas

A badger cull is due to start on Saturday in two test areas.

Marksmen will be licensed to shoot the animals, in West Somerset and West Gloucestershire, to try to stop the spread of bovine TB.

However, wildlife groups say killing badgers will have no effect on preventing TB in cattle.

The BBC's correspondent Jeremy Cooke reports.
