Next-generation electricity pylons unveiled
Six new designs for electricity pylons have been unveiled at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
They are the finalists in a competition by the Royal Institute of British Architects (Riba) for the Department of Energy and Climate Change (Decc) and the National Grid, who called for designs for next generation electricity pylons.
A prize of £10,000 will given to the winner and the National Grid says it will consider developing the winning design for future projects.
