Soyuz crew lands after space station mission

Three astronauts aboard the Russian spacecraft Soyuz have touched down safely in northern Kazakhstan after spending five months aboard the International Space Station.

The spacecraft carried a Russian cosmonaut, Fyodor Yurchikhin, and two NASA astronauts, Doug Wheelock and Shannon Walker, who had been conducting scientific research and maintenance aboard the space station.

Before the crew touched down they tucked into a Thanksgiving meals of rehydrated turkey.
