Ariane-5 satellite rocket successfully launched

An Ariane-5 rocket has been successfully launched from the Guiana Space Center, delivering communications satellites which will relay services to European, African and Asian customers.

The rocket blasted off from the European Space Agency's launch centre at Kourou on the northeast coast of South America.

Two more satellite should be launched in late November on the next Ariane flight.
