Shipping emissions plan scuttled by developing nations

Environmentalists at the UN climate talks in the Chinese city of Tianjin have criticised China and other big developing nations for blocking a proposal to cut emissions from shipping.

The plan would have imposed minimum efficiency standards on all new vessels.
