The man who was 'too old' to sail solo around the world

In May 1967 British sailor, Sir Francis Chichester, was given a hero's welcome when he completed an epic solo voyage around the world single-handedly.

His son, Giles Chichester, spoke to Witness about his father's extraordinary feat.

Witness is a World Service programme of the stories of our times told by the people who were there.
