A 'living building' for the black American experience

After years of planning and work, the National Museum of African-American History and Culture is being opened by President Barack Obama on Saturday.

The architect of the building is the UK's own David Adjaye, who says process of designing the building changed his life.

Adjaye takes North American correspondent Nick Bryant on a tour of a museum he describes as "a living building", designed to understand black Americans' ongoing struggle for equality.
