Milifandom, Cameronettes and other leader memes

Photoshopped pictures of the Labour Party leader Ed Miliband have been widely shared in the UK, as the politician gained fans from around the world.

The hashtag #milifandom has been used more than 28,000 times in the past 24 hours. A counter-surge by Conservative supporters, #cameronettes, attracted around 8,000 tweets.

BBC Trending has been looking at some of the best #Milifandom images, and we've also been studying the other treatments given to different party leaders over the first few weeks of the General Election campaign.
