Vietnam shipwrecks: Going for a dive

For centuries, ships have sailed past the coast of Vietnam on their way to and from China, as they plied the ancient trading routes that spanned Asia.

Some archaeologists believe there could be thousands of wrecks lying off Vietnam's coast.

Australian Mark Staniforth and a team of archaeologists explore the waters off central Vietnam as they train the country's first generation of underwater archaeologists.

He explains what they found after they went on a dive at a potential wreck site.
