Building business partnerships between Afghan and US women

"Peace Through Business" is an initiative that focuses on enabling women in the developing world by helping them grow their businesses.

For the past seven years, the programme has provided women with economic courses in their home countries, as well as a week of mentorship with a business in the US. The aim is to help women in these countries do business on a global scale.

BBC Persian's Sam Farzaneh met with two women taking part: Manhiza Wafeq, who owns a boutique in Kabul, and Cindy Shelby Meyers, who is mentoring Wafeq at her boutique in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
