Regular sex helps "longevity" for over 50s

Regular sex, more intimacy and physical exercise are among the suggestions to help the 'Baby boomers' live longer, says the Chief Medical Officer for England.

The annual report from Dame Sally Davies has been examining the lives and lifestyles of people aged between 50 and 70 and found that sexual activity "is beneficial for both physical and mental health."

Dame Sally told Radio 4's Today programme "intimacy and sex are good for one's longevity".
