Junior doctors and ministers to resume contract talks

For the first time in three months, the government and junior doctors in England have said they are ready to talk again.

It follows an urgent call from the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges for a five day pause in the government's imposition of the new contract, while junior doctors also suspend any new threat of strikes.
