NHS England: Many psychiatric patients 'being failed'

Most psychiatric patients are being failed by the NHS in England - according to a report by an independent task force.

It uncovered long waiting times and a lack of provision in Accident and Emergency departments.

Ministers and health bosses have accepted the findings, promising £1bn extra by 2020 to tackle the problems.
