Jeremy Hunt hails 'good deal for doctors'

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has accused the British Medical Association of "misrepresenting" the government's position in the row over changes to junior doctors' contracts in England. The doctors' union say a planned change to the definition of their core hours will leave them worse off.

But Mr Hunt insisted doctors were being offered a good deal. He told the BBC that wages would not be cut, but the pay structures that force hospitals hospitals to rota fewer doctors at the weekend would be changed.
