The moment a cancer patient met donor who saved his life

A man who recovered from blood cancer has met the donor who saved his life - and described their surprise at finding they had shared interests.

Retired headteacher Steve Goddard from Derbyshire was told he might only have 12 months left to live - but is now in remission, thanks to a stem cell transplant from engineer Tom Wiltshire in 2012.

On Saturday, they met for the first time at an Anthony Nolan event to mark the first ever World Marrow Donor Day.
