UK Ebola planning 'excellent', says Chief Medical Officer
England's Chief Medical officer has said that early planning for the event of a potential outbreak of the Ebola virus in Britain has been "excellent", and that there are good response mechanisms in place.
Speaking to MPs on the Health Select Committee, Dame Sally Davies said that a recent national exercise went "better than expected".
"I can safely say that the planning at the national level has been excellent," she said.
