Staffordshire cattery 'was engulfed in flames'

A number of cats have died and more remain missing after a serious fire at a cattery in Staffordshire.

Up to 30 firefighters were called to Pinetrees Cattery in Huntington, north of Cannock, when the alarm was raised at about 05:30 GMT.

Phil MacFarlane, from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue, said that the "whole cattery was engulfed in flames".
