How should a doctor tell a patient they are dying?

Telling a patient they have a terminal illness must be one of the toughest tasks a doctor faces.

Dr Jeremy Steele, an oncologist and bad news trainer at St Barts Hospital, London, spoke to BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine about the first time he had to tell someone they would die soon.
