Hospital elderly care criticised

The level of care given to some elderly people in hospital has been criticised in a report from the Patients Association.

The study focuses on 16 cases in NHS hospitals in England, and calls for immediate action to improve basic care.

Angela Rippon of the Patients Association, says action is needed to get humanity and care back into the hospital system.
