Stroke care variations in England 'unacceptable'

The variation in quality of care for people who have had strokes in England is unacceptable according to the body which regulates the NHS.

Chief executive of the Care Quality Commission, Cynthia Bower, said that some areas are not offering proper care to patients once they leave hospital, which is vital for their recovery.
